Giovanni Angelo Balaguer is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with over 11 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Co-founder and CEO of cynder, a company that specializes in developing web and mobile application solutions for businesses and individuals who need the capabilities of modern web-based systems. Giovanni has an impressive educational background, having completed his Master of Technology Management from the University of the Philippines in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems with Specialization in Business Intelligence from Ateneo de Manila University, which he completed in 2010. Additionally, he attended the Philippine Science High School - Bicol Region Campus from 2002 to 2006. Before founding cynder, Giovanni worked as an ETL Consultant at Teradata and as a Technical Business Analyst at Indra Philippines Inc. During his time at Teradata, he was responsible for database migration work from Sybase to Teradata, as well as code quality and performance testing for database migration scripts. At Indra Philippines Inc., he handled Business Process Analysis, Database Design and Administration, ETL Development, Datamining, and Data Analytics. Giovanni is highly proficient in a wide range of technologies, including web and mobile development, software engineering, ETL, testing, and SQL. He possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and his ability to handle complex tasks has been honed through his extensive experience in the industry.
